PELANTIKAN ORMAWA 2026
Surabaya, January 29, 2026 - The inauguration of the Student Organization of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, often known as Ormawa, with the theme called 'Adhikāra Jñāna Pratisthā' was successfully held. This event is held annually and attended by all students of the faculty who are members of various organizations ranging from the Student Executive Body (DEMA), Student Senate (SEMA), Student Association (HIMA), and the Student Activity Unit (UKM). This event was held at the Auditorium Building of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya and was also attended by the Dean, Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Thohir, M.Ag.; the Deputy Dean III, Prof. Dr. Achmad Muhibin Zuhri, M.Ag.; along with the heads of study programs in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training.
At 06.30 WIB, the entire Ormawa Inauguration Committee opened the gate and invited participants to enter by forming a long line and were invited to fill in the attendance list first. After entering the Inauguration area, Ormawa participants were invited to take their seats as directed by the committee, such as the ranks of Student Executive Body, Student Senate, Executive Board of Student Association, and Executive Board of Student Activity Unit sitting on the lower seats that had been provided. Other Student Association members sat in the upper stands on the right and left sides.
This event started at 07.30 WIB and was hosted by the MC from the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Hisyam Rabbani Alamsyah, and Inaroh Duja Ummi Hirza. After the opening and also reading the holy verses of the Qur'an, it was continued by singing the song "Indonesia Raya" and the UINSA march. After that, there was a short speech from the chairman of the Ormawa Inauguration Committee 2026, Choco Qurrohman Prakoso. Continued with a speech by the Dean, Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Thohir, M.Ag reading the decree of the Ormawa 2026-2027 management along with heads of study programs in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training. This event was also enlivened by a regional dance performance by three members of the Student Activity Unit HASTASA as an accompaniment to the procession. This event continued with the inauguration of the board members through the reading of the inaugural oath, which was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training.
This was followed by the announcement of the decree of the Student Association management by each head of study programs. Then the event continued with remarks from the chairman of the Student Executive Body, Ahmad Qowim Manhaji, and the chairman of the Student Senate, Haris Fatah. Not to forget, the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Tarbiyah, Prof. Dr. Achmad Muhibin Zuhri, M.Ag, also gave messages to the 2026-2027 Ormawa administrators to be able to be responsible properly and not to forget to also carry out lectures properly even though they join an organization.
The next agenda is the reading of the Student Activity Unit decree and the inauguration procession of the Executive Board of the Student Activity Unit. Then, the event was followed by the handover of positions from the 2025-2026 to the 2026-2027 management. This event lasted until 10.40 WIB and was followed by a group photo session.
The last agenda was the approval of the Student Association work meeting. Then, the ORMAWA inauguration committee helped direct each student association of the study programs to their respective classrooms for their work meeting discussions. Next, the Student Executive Body came to class to supervise the results of each student association's work meeting, which lasted until 12.10 WIB.
