 JEC Spot On! ELED Freshmen Kick Off with a Spectacular Inauguration

        October 25, 2025 was a special day for the English Language Education Study Program. The biggest event and phenomenal competition held, the Java English Competition 2025. It's a burst of fun and spirit, gathering students across Java and also the students of ELED itself. From the lecturers, fifth semester students, third semester students, and finally our little sparks, the freshmen from first semester, had participated in this event. While other students became committee members, the first semester participated as inauguration performers. This shows how important it is for ELED to make sure every single person and role at the major participates with passion and happiness. 
        The inauguration is an expression of creativity, collaboration, and the art of performance. Ninety-six students delivered the inauguration spectacularly. From the three classes, they were divided into nine groups and nine performance included; Vision Vanguard Fashion Show by Gold Medal with their best outfits inspired by Javanese and Arabic themes, Traditional Dance by Wonder LegaCy who captures the beauty and varieties of indonesian traditional dance, the peak fun Dance Battle Show by The Click, the amazing and creative musical drama Frozen Story by Syahroni Circle, funky Hiphop Dance by Drop Beat, Western Karaoke by Chillzone Crew with their amazing voices, the strong appearance of Malin Kundang by Story Telling Group, perfect melody with Sing a Song by Lowkey Choir, and the perfect act of emotion of Javanese Folklore Drama (Jaka Tarub) by Whispers of the Sky. 
        

All of the performances were spectacular, fun, and always had the crowd applause, even their performance themes meet the Java English Competition theme perfectly. They have been preparing the performance for a whole month, they thought about the concept thoroughly, the outfit and make up, and the property. “Everyone looks united, confident, and enthusiastic to represent their own performances. Smiles, jokes, and laughter instantly appeared on their faces — a sign that friendship can become family when we are together. And we will never forget those memories forever”, said Muhammad Rohmatullah Furqon, Class Leader of Class B and one of the freshmen. 
        The inauguration marks the start of their journey throughout the year as ELED students. Hopefully with this event, they can grow closer together with their classmates and also be a great experience for them. Big appreciation for the freshmen, surely these performances will always be cherished by the audience and the family of ELED.
