Are you ready to be the winner? 🏆

    The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived! The Speech Contest competition has determined the finalists for both the middle school (SMP) and high school (SMA) levels. Please check out the results below.

    As per the previously explained mechanism, the finalists have been selected based on the top 2 participants from each class with the highest average scores overall. It is with great pleasure that we announce the participants who have made it to the final round of the JEC 2025 Speech Contest! 🤗

      We would like to thank all participants for their hard work and dedication during the preliminary round. Congratulations to those who made it to the final, and don’t be discouraged if you didn’t make it this time, keep up the great effort! 😊

JAVA ENGLISH COMPETITION 2025 "Language as a Bridge, Culture as a Guide: Empowering Indonesian Youth to Share Their Cultural Identity to the World"                Java English Competition (JEC) merupakan acara tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (HMP PBI) UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Once and Forever, the Indonesian Republic      Every 10th of November, Indonesians celebrate Heroes Day. This day is aimed at commemorating the battle of Surabaya, a battle that was elicited by the "comeback" of the Dutch after being evicted by the Japanese who then occupied Indonesia three years before. The most iconic scene from this series of incident and fight in Surabaya was the tearing of a Netherland flag at the Yamato Hotel. Being a national day, the 10th of November surely has significance for this country, especially in instilling nationalism and unity among Indonesians.  CULTURAL EXCHANGE 2025             Surabaya, June 12, 2025-Cultural Exchange was successfully held. The event was held by the English Language Education Department and Pusat Pengembangan Bahasa, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This event was held at three places, the first place was at the Student Central building, on the 4th floor of FTK, and the library. Attended by almost all parts of the English Language Education Study Program Student Association, student representatives from BIPA class (Bahasa Indonesia Penutur Asing), student representatives from other departments, and also attended by the Head of the PBI Study Program, Ma'am Rahmawati, M.pd and Ma'am Rizka Safriyani, M.Pd, and the Head of Language Department, Moh.
