Stepping Into the Global Stage: International Insights and TOEFL Strategies
Surabaya,
September 13, 2025 - The 2025 HimaProdi PBI International TOEFL Preparation
Seminar was successfully held. The event was organized by the Student
Association of the English Language Education Program at UIN Sunan Ampel
Surabaya. The event was held at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training,
4th floor, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. It was attended by the selected committee
members involved in this program. The event also featured distinguished
speakers, including lecturers, department heads, and exceptional presenters.
The event was held at 8:00 a.m. The committee directed seminar participants to register early and sign the attendance sheet in front of the room before entering the seminar room. The participants were very orderly in attending this seminarxtoefl 2025 event. The event began with a traditional dance performed by senior members of the English Education Study Program Student Association. This was followed by the MC welcoming the guests, speakers, and participants. Following that, the Indonesian national anthem and the Uinsa hymn were sung. After the songs, the event organizer, Najwa Shiva, gave a brief speech to greet and welcome the guests, speakers, and participants.
After the welcoming remarks, the next item on the agenda was to begin the seminar, and the moderator introduced the first speaker. Our moderator was M. Farkhi Faisol Hakim, S.Pd, M.Pd. After that, there was another short speech from our secretary, Mr. Fathur Rohman, M.Ag. After his remarks, the first speaker, Mr. Tom Kamm, presented the material he had prepared, which was well received by the participants. There was a question and answer session after the presentation, and the participants were enthusiastic in asking questions to Mr. Tom Kamm. The first speaker's session ended with a group photo and the presentation of a certificate to the first speaker. The moderator then read the CV of our second speaker, Aris Bahari Rizki, S.pd, M.A. He explained how to take the TOEFL and how we can understand difficult questions. The second speaker's presentation was also followed by a question and answer session for participants who did not fully understand or had questions about his presentation. Following that, certificates were awarded to the second presenter, and certificates were also presented to the moderator.
After
finishing the seminar materials, the MC promoted the TOEFL test to the
participants, encouraging them to be brave and try taking the test. The final
agenda of the event was a group photo session with the committee and
participants.
