 Charity 2025: Together We Give, Together We Grow

    Surabaya, May 31, 2025-Charity HimaProdi PBI 2025 has been successfully held. The event was held by the English Language Education Study Program Student Association of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This event was held at Dumas Elementary School, Bubutan District, Surabaya. Attended by the committee members who were selected in this work program. This event also invited the Head of PBI Study Program, Ma'am Rahmawati, M.pd, but she was unable to attend due to an important matter.

     This event was held at 08.30 a little late. The committee directed the Dumas Elementary School students to be orderly in participating in the 2025 Charity activity. This event was hosted by the Opening MC of our friend Rahma Class of 2024, one of the committee members of the English Language Education Study Program Association, and continued with the reading of Gema wahyu Illahi or the reading of prayers read by our friend Avina. After the reading of the prayer, filled with the first speech from chief of the event Syaviera Annisa Dwiputri from the PBI Study Program Association. It was continued the chief of english language education Muzakky Alhimam. After that there was a short speech by Mrs. Siti Jaenah, one of the representatives from Dumas Elementary School.

    After the speeches, the agenda continued with watching a film about ideals/dreams and dreams in the film shown by the children. Before entering the event with the children of Dumas Elementary School, the committee members introduced themselves and divided the groups to work on the material given by the committee members. After the groups were divided and accompanied by their respective mentors, the first material was to discuss the ideals desired by the children, what dreams they wanted to achieve and write one sentence in English that discussed the ideals. Next, the agenda continued, each group must have 1 person to represent the front to read the results of their work and get a prize from the committee members.

     After the first speaker, it was continued with games and distributing snacks to the children to rest and break for Dhuhur prayer in congregation at the prayer room near Dumas Elementary School, break for prayer and rest. After the break, it was continued with the second material, namely sticking on the paper board the results of the work that was drawn and written in the group work earlier. Continued with a game watching another video whose content is about throwing garbage in its place and loving the environment, the enthusiasm and spirit of the children to answer questions in this game and get prizes given by the committee.

    The final agenda of this event was the distribution of gifts to the children before going home and a photo session with the committee, children, and representatives of Dumas Elementary School teachers. Continued with the presentation of certificates and another group photo for the committee and representatives of Dumas Elementary School teachers. The event held by HMP PBI Charity 2025 has ended successfully.
